"The Triton Regional School District serves the Massachusetts coastal towns of Newbury, Rowley, and Salisbury.  Located in the northeast corner of the state, these three communities provide a distinct population of students to the school district.  With all three rural towns dating back to the 1630’s, the area is rich in historical traditions and attractions which add to the academic experience of our students.

There is one elementary school in each town ranging in population from 600 to 675 students in Pre-K through grade 6.  The three schools are Newbury Elementary in Newbury, Pine Grove School in Rowley, and Salisbury Elementary in Salisbury.

Upon completing the sixth grade, students attend the Triton Regional Middle School which houses approximately 565 students in grade 7 and 8.  Sharing the same campus in Byfield, the Triton Regional High School houses just over 1000 students in grades 9 through 12.  The total student population of the district is approximately 3600 students, Pre-K through 12.

The district is a dedicated partnership of three communities who, within the common goal of maximizing opportunities for learning, work together consistently in a spirit of respect and cooperation.  Open and ongoing communication encourages high performance.  Recognition, as well as appreciation of diverse backgrounds and talents, provides inspiration for collaboration among all.  As a result, our students are self-motivated, independent citizens who effectively communicate, collaborate, and problem solve." - http://trsd.net/
